WSL Windsor Castle
White Star Line Windsor Castle 1840-1861
One of the first White Star Line vessels purchased and owned (not leased as several websites claim) by original WSL owners John Pilkington and Henry Wilson. She was built in 1840 and purchased by WSL in 1850. She was sold shortly after Thomas Ismay purchased the White Star Line and began building steamships.
